(Canton, OH) Dec.3, 2009 —United Way of Greater Stark County will celebrate the close of 2009 annual workplace campaigns at a “Landing” event at the Akron-Canton Airport on Thurs., Dec. 10 at 5:00 p.m.

Winners will be drawn and announced for two new drawings for new and returning donors. Prizes range from gift certificates from local vendors to two AirTran tickets valued at $500 each.

United Way of Greater Stark County is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to improve lives in measurable and lasting ways by mobilizing thousands of people around a common goal: advancing the common good. We do this through funding programs which focus on Early Education & Care, Graduation & Training and Family Stability.
