Day of Caring
Each year, hundreds of volunteers from area businesses volunteer their time painting, cleaning basements, performing office tasks and landscaping for United Way Service Providers and other human service agencies in greater Stark County today. This year’s Day of Caring event boasted more than 850 volunteers, and provided more than 5,000 hours of service to area agencies.
You and your co-workers can assist with a variety of hands-on projects at non-profit organizations. See first-hand what good work is happening in our community. When employees volunteer for a Day of Caring project they can...
- Help our United Way partner agencies and other community non-profit organizations complete much needed projects.
- Gain a better understanding of how their United Way contributions are put to work through our community's health and human services programs.
- Showcase your organization's volunteer spirit and commitment to doing what matters in Stark County.
- AND...have fun while building team spirit and morale!
