Super Refund Sunday acts as the kick off for the tax season, which general runs from mid-January to April 15. Last year, the IRS opened 250 locations nationwide to assist individuals with their tax returns and answer tax related questions.

To qualify for free tax preperation, your income must be $42,000 or less. If you do not qualify, but you still have tax related questions you may still visit the free tax preperation locations for answers.
