Shop & Learn is an 8-week program that works with parents to teach their children colors, letters, numbers and shapes while completing everyday tasks, like grocery shopping. Every two weeks a new activity card will be displayed at Fishers Foods for you to complete with your pre-school aged or younger children. The summer session will start July 17 and continue through September 11th.

Then, after finishing the activities for that two week time period, you can take your child’s activity card to the cashier who will mark the finished activity card with a United Way sticker. The card can be turned in to the customer service desk in exchange for a book from Stark County Early Childhood Communications Collaborative for your child.

Join us at participating Fisher Foods locations on July 17 for the Kick Off! Look for us at the Bookmobile, where each child will recieve a book to take home with them.
