A big THANK YOU to our Corporate Volunteer Council for their School Supply Drive! More than 1,400 items were collected and will be donated to Northside Elementary in Alliance and Massillon Middle School.

Corporate Volunteer Council
The Corporate Volunteer Council is a local coalition of companies that promote and participate in employee volunteerism. The mission of the CVC is to promote and strengthen corporate volunteerism within its membership and surrounding communities. The CVC recognizes the importance of volunteering and is committed to helping companies in their efforts to support local community agencies. The CVC also encourages the creation of public-private volunteer partnerships.
The goals of the CVC are:
- To serve as a networking tool by providing a way for companies to exchange information and obtain assistance regarding employee volunteer programs
- To provide a forum where member companies can learn about community needs for employee volunteers
- To provide a means for member companies to work together on a community need or problem through joint projects
- To advance the role of volunteerism in corporations and institutions
- To improve our members' capacity to support their own volunteer programs by serving as a network for members to exchange information about volunteer programs and opportunities
- To act as a resource for companies initiating or expanding employee volunteer programs
- To inform members about local non-profit organizations seeking volunteer support from the corporate community
CVC provides members with the professional expertise to develop and enhance their volunteer programs. We provide the tools snecessary for members to become leaders in the field and to elevate their program to new heights.
