United Way’s annual campaign kicked off Sept. 10 at the Akron-Canton Airport with a “Take Off”
gathering. On Dec. 10, workplace campaigns will wrap up with a “Landing” celebration!

United Way is the most efficient way to help the most people. 14.6% for core and administrative costs for a Metro 2 (a community where the campaign is less than $10 million) is average for a United Way of Greater Stark County’s size.

Every year hundreds of volunteer leaders who care about our neighbors in greater Stark County
step up to help the annual United Way campaign. From campaign cabinet members, workplace
